Privacy Notice

Last updated October 18, 2026

Who is responsible for your data

iRevoL is operated by Viktor Nagy (“we”, “us”). Viktor Nagy is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. If you have questions about your data, you can reach us through the support options provided in the app.

What personal data we collect

  • Account data: your email address, used to create and identify your account.
  • Practice data: your accumulated RevoL Time, daily goal progress and practice statistics, so your progress is preserved across sessions and devices.
  • Country: if you choose to put your light on the RevoL World map, the country you select. We never collect or store precise location.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and device information, needed to deliver the service and keep it secure.
  • Communications: messages you send us, for example support requests.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Why we use your data and on what basis

  • To create your account, sync your progress and provide the service — performance of our contract with you.
  • To secure the service, prevent abuse and fraud — our legitimate interests.
  • To understand how the service is used and improve it — our legitimate interests.
  • To send you service-related messages, such as your sign-in link — performance of our contract with you.
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as accounting and tax record-keeping — legal obligation.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.

Technical Diagnostics & Reliability

When an audio playback failure occurs, iRevoL automatically sends a minimal technical error report so we can investigate playback failures, maintain service reliability and support security. These reports are processed on our behalf by Sentry, a technical error-monitoring provider, using storage in the European Union. They are not used for advertising or profiling, and they do not include session replay, session recording or any recording of audio or your behaviour.

A report contains an event ID, UTC timestamp, platform (JavaScript), severity level, a fixed category-based message, a release/build label, and a fingerprint used to group similar failures. Its tags contain the audio engine (B2 or legacy), sound identifier, error category, sanitised error class, coarse operating-system and browser information (including major version), and whether the page was in the foreground or background. The event ID identifies an individual report, not you or your account; the fingerprint groups errors rather than identifying a person. Reports are limited to genuine audio failures, deduplicated, and capped at a small number per page session.

Reports do not include your name, email address, account or session identifiers, page URLs or query strings, full error messages or stack traces, precise location, or raw audio or microphone data. This does not make reporting anonymous: as with any network connection, your IP address and ordinary connection headers are visible to the provider while the report is delivered. We have configured Sentry to prevent storage of IP addresses and to scrub IP data, but this does not mean an IP address is never processed by the provider or its infrastructure.

We rely on our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in diagnosing technical failures, maintaining reliability and securing the service. We have assessed that these minimal reports are necessary and proportionate for that purpose. You have the right to object to this processing at any time: use the opt-out control below on this page, or contact us through the support options provided in the app. The opt-out is stored only in this browser for this site address; www.hirevol.com and app.hirevol.com store separate preferences. To object elsewhere, use the control on each site or contact us. If your browser cannot save the preference, reporting is blocked on the current page and the control explains that persistence after reload cannot be guaranteed. Reporting is also blocked whenever the stored preference cannot be read.

Local diagnostic records are held only in the current page's memory and are discarded when that page is reloaded or closed. Reports held by Sentry are retained according to our provider arrangements and deleted when no longer needed for reliability and security purposes. The international-transfer provisions below also apply to this processing.

Who we share your data with

  • Service providers who host the application and its database and help us run and secure the service.
  • Sentry, our technical error-monitoring provider, which processes the minimal audio error reports described above on our behalf.
  • Paddle.com, as Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription and order management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
  • Authorities, where we are required to disclose data by law.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, to protect your data.

How long we keep your data

We keep account and practice data for as long as your account is active, so your progress is preserved. If you delete your account or ask us to erase your data, we delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed. Technical logs are kept for shorter periods consistent with security and legal requirements.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data rectified;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict or object to the processing of your data;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Slovakia, the Útrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky.

We respond to requests within one month. To exercise your rights, contact us through the support options provided in the app.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit, access controls and secure hosting of the database.

Cookies and local storage

iRevoL uses only strictly necessary local storage: it keeps you signed in and remembers your preferences, such as your chosen sound and mute setting. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
